Here are some important announcements for students and parents.

BENTLEY UNIVERSITY VISIT:  On Tuesday, August 30, at 10:30 a.m., Bentley University from Massachusetts will visit Discovery School to talk with students about their academic programs, scholarships, etc. Grades 11 and 12 students will meet with the representatives in the Library, and all parents or teachers who are interested are invited to attend. EDUCATION USA PROGRAM: Melissa Zelaya, from Education USA, will visit Discovery School on Thursday, September 1, in the Library, to meet with our secondary students and parents and explain the services she offers for individual consultation on selection of university, scholarship applications, etc. Parents are encouraged to attend, according to the following schedule:

10:54 – 11:44 a.m. (Period 4)             Grades 8, 9 and 10

1:17 – 2:07 p.m. (Period 6)                 Grades 11 and 12

CIS Fall 2011 Latin America Tour

The American School on Thursday, September 22, 2011 will be hosting the CIS University Fair. Students attending will need to fill in an inquiry card and make copies to give to the college representatives.  The following is a directory of the Universities that will be at the fair. PSAT - Those who were not able to register to take the PSAT at our school may still do so by paying 13 US dollars in Banco Ficohsa. The American School still has some spots available. Please see me to get the bank account number.
